THE BURROW
"We're a little way outside the village. Ottery St. Catchpole." -- George
Weasley
The Burrow is home to the Weasley family, which seems to have originally
been a large stone pigpen. It is several stories high, and it looks as if rooms were added in several places, until it got
to the point of being held up soley by magic. It has a red roof, upon which four or five stone chimneys are perched. The tiny
front yard is littered with old boots, cans, and other garbage, while the backyard has a garden which is almost always playing
host to local gnomes, mostly because Mr. Weasley is too soft with them (he thinks that they are really cute). The family
also owns a large field in the countryside behind the house in which the boys (and sometimes Ginny) practice Quidditch by
tossing apples through the air during the holidays. Near this field is a small, run-down shed in which Mr. Weasley stores
his array of Muggle items.
