Mandrake, Mandragora
Mandrake is a very powerful restorative also known as Mandragora. When
used properly, it will return a cursed or transfigured person to their original state and is quite useful for clearing
up acne. Although it is an important ingredient in most antidotes, it is very dangerous. This is because the cry of the Mandrake
is fatal to anyone who hears it. However, if a Mandrake is still very young, its cry will only be so strong as to knock you
out for a couple of hours. Their leaves are purplish green and tufty, and grow out of the Mandrake's head, which is pale green
and mottled, as is the rest of its body while it is still in the infant stage of development. They have very sharp fists
and teeth, and seem to grow as human beings do (although not in size or appearance, of course).
