ACRAMANTULA
The acramantula is a gargantuan spider with the dimensions of an elephant
and the ferocity of a lion. They are very rare and very dangerous, and they feed on humans.
ACRAMANTULA, ARAGOG THE
Aragog was Hagrid's giant tarantula, before he died in HBP (Aragog, not
Hagrid, thank Dumbledore). He had a low-slung, hairy black body, and was the size of a small elephant. His black body was
mixed with gray, and he was completely blind.
