RIDDLE HOUSE
The Riddle House was the mansion of arrogant, wealthy Tom Riddle, Sr., and his equally arrogant, wealthy
parents. Perched on a hill overlooking Little Hangleton, this once very fine manor is now unkempt, dusty, broken, and unoccupied,
except for the summer holidays before Harry's fourth year, when Voldemort and Wormtail stayed there. A great deal of its windows
are boarded up, ivy grows all over it's front (and probably back and sides, too), and tiles have been swept off of the roof.
Voldemort murdered his fatherand grandparents in the dining room, and stayed for a brief spell with Wormtail in the room all
the way down the hall on the second floor, which consists of a fireplace, hearth, and high-backed armchair. There is also
a massive kitchen and a garden overgrown with weeds. Even years after the Riddles were killed (leaving the house forever unoccupied),
Frank Bryce, the gardener, stayed on, living in the cottage on the house grounds and tending in vain to the garden.
