Harry James Potter was born on July 31 to two very smart, accomplished parents, Lily and James Potter. Lily and James were murdered Halloween night fifteen years ago, although Harry somehow survived (yadah, yadah, yadah... ginger pudding... scar... pink fuzzy slippers... ). When his parents were murdered, Harry was left on the doorstep of his only remaining relatives, his aunt and uncle (Petunia and Vernon Dursley, and their son, Dudley). At age 11, Harry was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and finally learned the truth about his parents... and himself. His two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, remain with him even seven years later, as have his other close Hogwarts friends (Ginny Wealsey, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Neville Longbottom, Fred and George Weasley, Hagrid, and more). Harry also owns a beautiful snowy owl named Hedwig. His best subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts, his worst is Potions. His wand is made of Holly & Phoenix feather, is 11 inches long, and is described by Mr. Ollivander as "nice and supple." Harry's two worst fears are Lord Voldemort and Dementors (as of the third book). He is currently Seeker for and Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, just as his father was. He is very small and skinny for his age, with uncontrollably messy and jet black hair just like his fathers, and bright green eyes, just like his mothers. He has his grandfather's (James; father's) knobbly knees. The Phoenix his wand's core was taken from gave only one other feather: the feather located in the wand of... eerie music playing, people... Lord Voldemort. He is a Parseltounge, likes Strawberry and Peanut Butter ice cream, and has a small fortune, which his parents left him in a vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
