Chapter One
The Boy Who Lived
Summary:
Vernon and Petunia Dursley are clearly the most ordinary people
you would find (no counting Harry, Lily, and James), and they cannot deal with anything at all of an unusual sort because
they are set in a complete and utter state of loathing for Petunia's sister, Lily, who is a witch, her husband, James, and
their son, Harry (Harry and James are wizards). However, when Harry is only one year old, Lily and James are murdered
by the most powerful wizard in 100 years, Lord Voldemort. Voldemort also came after Harry, but somehow the curse rebounded
upon the caster and his powers were drained, leaving him temporarily vanished and powerless. However, since his parents were
now dead, Harry was sent by Dumbledore to live with his only remaining relatives (guess who...).
