Chapter Three
The Letters From No One
Summary:
Harry begins recieving letters in bulk from an anynomous sender-- each
time that Uncle Vernon destroys the letters, the sender mails more than the time before. After a week, when forty letters
arrive on Sunday ("No post on Sundays!"), Vernon cracks under pressure and brings the family first to a dingy old hotel where
the sender still manages to find Harry, then to a ruined little hut on the sea during a thunderstorm. However, at exactly
12:00 AM on July 31 (Harry's birthday), a ceratin half-giant with a shaggy beard, beetlelike
eyes, and a fixation with dangerous creatures appears. Guess who!
