Summary:
The first year students learn all about the four Houses from Professor
McGonagall and the Sorting Hat, a patched, ragged wizard's hat which sings and sorts the new students into their Houses. Harry,
Ron, and Hermione are all sorted into Gryffindor, while Malfoy is put into Slytherin. The school enjoys a delicious Start-of-term
feast, Dumbledore makes the announcements, and Harry has a strange but forgotten dream.
