Chapter Eleven
Quidditch
Summary:
Harry, Ron, and Hermione have now all become very good friends; Hermione
even checks their homework and lends Harry Quidditch Through the Ages, although Snape confiscates it soon after.
The trio begin to ponder the mystery of the three-headed dog and its possible connection to the grubby little package from
vault seven-hundred and thirteen. Harry's first ever Quidditch match, Gryffindor .vs. Slytherin, is well underway when Harry
loses control of his broomstick. Hermione notices Snape muttering under his breath and not breaking eye contact with
Harry, which she realizes are the signs of the placement of a jinx.. Luckily, clever Hermione comes to the rescue, and Gryffindor
wins the match (even if Harry did almost swallow the Snitch). Harry, Ron, and Hermione also get some new information from
Hagrid about the third-floor corridor and it's tri-headed guard.
