EXPLANATION: Unknown,
although Lockhart says that he used this to save them from "the monthly terror of werewolf
attacks" by turning the werewolf back into a man, except that there are two flaws: one, Lockhart took this story from
someone else, and two, in POA, Lupin says that there is no way to change a werewolf back into a man (the only cure is the
Wolfsbane Potion, which does not really cure, but only keeps the werewolf's mind as that of a man's when the full moon arises).
