Chapter Two
Dobby's Warning
Harry finds a strange creature awaiting his arrival in his room, which
turns out to be Dobby the house-elf. He tells Harry that he was the one who was stopping his friend's letters from getting
through to him, and that if he returns to Hogwarts, terrible things will happen. Before Harry can find out what, however,
Dobby makes him promise that he will not go back to school. Of course, Harry won't submit to this, but Dobby won't give up
without a fight. He performs a Hover Charm on Aunt Petunia's pudding, dropping it down upon Mr. Mason's head. Because Harry
lost Uncle Vernon his big order, they lock him in hos room, even going to such great lengths as to put metal bars on his window.
