OWL, ERROL THE
Errol the Owl belongs to the Weasleys, and has been in their possesion
for quite a long time, apparently. He is VERY old with gray feathers
OWL, HEDWIG THE
Hedwig is Harry's pet Great Snowy White owl. She is very large, with huge,
round amber eyes and a magnificent body. She hoots very loudly and often, although snowy owls are virtually soundless in real
life. When Hagrid bought her for his as a birthday presant, "he couldn't stop stammering his thanks, sounding just like Professor
Quirrell, " to which Hagrid responded " Don' mention it. Don' expect you've had a lotta presants from them Dursleys." So really,
this was Harry's first real birthday presant, apart from the ones he recieved when he was born and for his first birthday
(before his parents died, which he can't remember anyway).
OWL (SCREECH), HERMES THE
Hermes is Percy's screech owl, given to him as a presant for becoming a Prefect.
